Mishka Fall is where?

Mishka Flannels and Hoodies? Does it get any better in the fall than this? You don't have to go to the GAP to get a flannel anymore and as usual we are still the best place to cop a hoodie.

Fall Mishka is here...

Fall/Winter 2008 collection represents its most comprehensive set to date. The cut and sew product has expanded, meaning a greater array of bottoms and outerwear. Subtle detailing drives the new garments, and new pieces meld with old favorites. But lets get into these tees that we have just received. I think you will like them.

No One Knows

No One Knows. Not if selling sneaks today, that were dropped when I was a kid is dope. Not if standing in line is the thing to do. Not if resellers are the ones buying kicks so that those with the true love can't enjoy. This is our first collabo with Fresh Melt Water, and it came out dope. Available Friday, August 22nd at noon, this tee is crazy. Available in Black/White/Infrared, or White/Black/Infrared. That's right, I said Infrared. This tee is NOT A DISS to anyone. No One Knows. Well, maybe someone does. Made Fresh just for you...

The E&S connection is strong!!!!

Phil and I are Philly natives, and there is this little high school, G.W. Carver High School of Engineering and Science, in the middle of North Philly (17th and Norris to be exact). This little gem produces some of the most successful leaders that come out of Philly, and of course we both attended this high school. So of course it is always good to link up with fellow successful E&S classmates. Our homie George aka "Spanky" stopped in to show some love. If you're not familiar with Spanky, he is one of the premier percussionist in the game, and just finished playing the drums for Mr. West on The Glow In The Dark tour. Be on the lookout for Spanky on tour with Common in the near future.

Phil The Heat

Highly Untouchables has decided to jump into the game in a MAJOR way. They are hosting an event this Friday at the Marathon Grill on Friday, and I'm sure you will see some of your favorite local Philadelphia friends in attendance. Co-Sponsored by the boys at Made To Order, Fresh Melt, Pedx, and the AnmlHse Crew. Should be a dope one. Nix that. Will be a banger!!!

Fall Clae

JUST IN, the first in a few of Fall drops for Clae. First up is the Cousteau. Whether traveling the ocean floor or a stroll on the boardwalk your exploration of life’s discoveries will be enhanced by the Cousteau. A nautically inspired design refined with an easy to use strap closure, smooth leather upper, neoprene heel and a custom molded footbed. The Cousteau creates a whole new meaning to ‘bon voyage.’
And next up is the Rollins, which is a new model from Clae. The Rollins blows in with the crisp autumn air like an improvisational romp across the urban terrain. With a mixed medium upper of leather and heavy nylon accented with metal hardware details, Rollins’s roots lie in the trail/hiking tradition. And while it’s strong enough to weather the elements in the wild, the Rollins epitomizes a new harmony between rugged and refined. Luxe materials flipped in a vibrant colors palette delivers notes you haven’t heard in a long time.

Both available in sizes from 9-12 including half sizes. First seen at Made baby!!!

Summer 2: FMW

The FMW boys in their unlimited screenprinting wisdom have decided to do some tanks for this extreme heat that we've been experiencing. This one is my fav cause it's on some 80's basketball jersey before wearing jerseys was the thing to do, and everything was just printed on a tank top. We all had one if you were raised in the 80's, and now, here's a chance to experience some nostalgia and come one again. And the Pistol Pete graphic doesn't hurt either...

Summer 2: FMW

We just got in a quickstrike drop from the Fresh Melt boys. It's different from our usual drop, but hot nonetheless. We got in the Melt Bridge in a CRAZY green and orange colorway which is certain to look dope with the right fitted and kicks. We also got the Melt Bridge in as a tank!!!!! So when the weather gets too intense, cool down in this. Also, we got in a FMW logo tank which is the definition of chill.

Mishka's Here!

Mishka has arrived for its first season here at Made. We're all familiar with the brand, so no need to go into long introductions. But we start you out with the High Five tee and the Breakout tee. Both self explanatory.

Mishka Shorts and New Era

Also in from Mishka, is a nice offering of shorts. We got in the Dutchie shorts, in a black/white picnic colorway which is sure to be a hit when partnered with a nice v-neck. Also got in the Hiss Board Short which is a really interesting pair of shorts. The reptile print fades from green to a neon yellow and feels really good. And not to be undone, is the Demon Bubbles hat. We all know New Era is known for making amazing hats, so don't miss out.

Richard Kern for Mishka

The Richard Kern photo series for Mishka has arrived at Made To Order. We have Susan in the SHower and Mel just doing what she does. Richard Kern is a New York underground filmmaker, writer and photographer. He first came to underground prominence as part of the underground cultural explosion in the East Village of New York City in the 1980s, with erotic films featuring underground rock personalities of the time such as Lydia Lunch, Kembra Pfahler, and Henry Rollins in movies like "The Right Side of My Brain" and "Fingered." Like many of the musicians around Kern, he had a deep interest in the aesthetics of extreme sex, violence, and perversion and was one of the leading lights of Nick Zedd's coined Cinema of Transgression. Wear a part of history and cop these tees

Too Black Guys now in at Made!!!

Seminal streetwear brand Too Black Guys has had a resounding impact since their inception in the 90s. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, the brand has maintained a solid footing in the industry with their tongue in cheek approach. This season is entitled "Jim Crow Couture" and in typical TBG fashion, they are conveying thought provoking messages while maintaining dope designs. All of their tees are high-quality and cut & sew pieces.

First up is "If We Must" and if you really focus on the image, you can see a rioter being choked out by the police. "If We Must" is the beginning lines of a full poem that is actually printed in full, on the inside of the tee. The poem was penned in 1919 by Jamaican poet Claude McKay in response to a wave of race riots consisting mainly of white assaults on black neighborhoods in a dozen American cities. McKay's powerful poem encouraged his brethren to stand up and fight back.

"Coloreds Only", we have a couple enjoying a good time, poppin' champagne, in the hot tub (washing machine). That is Jim Crow in full effect.

"Hell No!" is next and I think it's pretty self explanatory.

Due to the Olympics starting 8.8.08 and the 40 year anniversary of John Carlos and Tommy Smith's iconic medal award ceremony, TBG has revisited this heroic image with "Say It Loud". Those two brothers were standing up against injustice. I wonder if any of the athletes will express their views this year. Don't hold your breath.
